We believe the scriptures teach us the present day continuation of all the giftings and abilities of the
Holy Spirit as in the first century, we believe each member is responsible before the Lord to use
his/her giftings and abilities for the building up of the body of Christ to the Honor and Glory of God.
(1Pet 4:10)
We do recognize that this is a very controversial subject among believer's today, on the one hand we see what
seems like excess and possibly even false signs and wonders and on the other hand we see much ignorance
and fear of any manifestation of the Holy Spirit and we believe both of these approaches are unbibical, are we
not commanded to "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts ... 1 Cor 14:1a" and yet to discern all spirits
whether they be of God (1John 4) not to despise prophecies (1Thes 5:20) and also to use our gifting's properly
(1Cor 14:23) and all things are to be done in and with love. (1Cor 13)
We exhort all to study the scriptures and believe what is clearly written and taught by Christ and the
Apostles on this matter, much can be learned by observing miracles and healing's performed in the gospels as
well as throughout the Books of Acts, etc, there was also at times miracle's in the Old Testament that we can
learn from. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Heb 13:8) For an overview of the
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works
than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14"

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations,
But it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to
profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the
same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another
the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of
tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,
dividing to every man severally as he will. 1Cor 12:4-11
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the
presbytery. (1 Tim 4:14)
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing
according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of
faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on
exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy,
with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:5-8)
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold
grace of God. (1Pet 4:10) (see below by what Peter must have meant by being good "Stewards")
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. For the kingdom of
heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his
goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his
several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded
with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other
two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the
lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and
brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them
five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over
a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had
received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other
talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a
few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had
received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast
not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the
earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant,
thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to
have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath
shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which
he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of
teeth. (Matt 25:13-30)
